Find and commission the right testing lab for your type examination

During type examinations, test labs check whether a product meets the requirements of certain EU directives. These include, for example, the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU, the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC and the Measuring Instruments Directive 2004/22/EC. As pa…rt of the EU conformity assessment, EC-type examinations can only be carried out by so-called Notified Bodies, which are designated by an EU member state or the EU Commission as part of a "designation procedure".
